systems and job deployment through mobile PDA technology.
Deployed to engineers, the system
provides optimised work routing and data capture of all
work undertaken including asset serial numbers of replaced
equipment and energy usage. In addition the system provides
full visibility of inventory held throughout the supply
chain including a mobile fleet.
The system manages the appointment process
and enables a choice of time slots to be offered but takes
full account of the cost of each available slot to enable
a balance to be achieved between operating cost and customer
service flexibility. The service can manage planned and
reactive work situations or a combination.
A key feature of the system is the ability
of the system to capture, process and transfer in field
data in a real time environment ensuring end client billing
is accurate and timely.
