Knowing where our products come from and go to is more than just good stock keeping. With a supported product range that includes airworthiness items, protectively marked (secret) items, and extremely expensive serial numbered electronic missile components; we need to know where everything came from, who it went to, and who else was supplied from that batch.
And since some repairable items go round the figure-8 repair loop several times, we can sometimes have quite a lot of movements to track.
